Frequently Asked Questions

How does Fast Pack attach to my bike?

In a nutshell, Fast Pack covers your bike's rear seat with a stretchy shroud, and features hook-and-loop straps for secure attachment. There is no drilling, and no metal fasteners are used. Fast Pack will not scratch your bike's bodywork.

What's it made out of?

Fast Pack is constructed of durable, heavy-duty materials to give you years of service. Materials include Cordura Nylon, marine-grade vinyl and a YKK waterproof zipper to help protect your items from the weather.

Will Fast Pack fit my bike?

Check out the page Is there a Fast Pack for Your Bike. Fast Pack has been designed to fit most modern sportbikes with a separate rear passenger seat. While we think we've got the newer bikes covered, there are probably lots of older bikes that we have not yet measured. If you don't see your bike listed on our application chart, please send the measurements of your bike's rear seat to FastPack@MotorcycleSmack.com and we'll let you know if there is a Fast Pack for you. Please send us the following measurements: 1 Length front to rear. 2. Width at the front of the rear seat. 3. Width at the rear of the rear seat.

What kind of things will fit in my Fast Pack?

Fast Pack holds about the same amount as an average sized tank bag. You can fit a pair of shoes, a pair of shorts, and a t-shirt. It will hold a light jacket, your sunglasses and a cell phone. We've gotten a pair of jeans, a pair of underwear, and 3 t-shirts in a Fast Pack. Want to carry a bag of food home from your favorite fast-food restaurant? No problem!

How secure is Fast Pack attached?

Fast Pack was designed by riders with an average of more than 30 years experience, so we've experienced the same problems you have. With a stretchy shroud enveloping your rear seat, and four hook-and-loop straps under the seat that attach to each other, Fast Pack is very secure on your bike. In our private testing area, we've ridden more than 100 miles per hour with a fully-loaded Fast Pack attached, and have not experienced one problem.

How quickly does it go on or come off?

How quickly does it take you to remove or attach your rear seat? Add about one minute to that time, and that's how long it takes to attach Fast Pack. Fast Pack will go onto most bikes in about a minute. There is no drilling, no metal fasteners, no damage to your bike.
